At Kamalam, we want you to love your purchase!

If you are not fully satisfied with your order, we’re here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
  • You must initiate the return within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Returns are accepted only for size issues, wrong items received, or manufacturing defects.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please email us at kamalamethnic@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for return
  • One or two clear images (if there’s a defect or wrong product)

Once approved, we’ll share the return pickup details or the address for self-shipment (depending on your pin code).


Return Shipping

  • For damaged, defective, or wrong products: we cover the return shipping cost.
  • For all other returns (e.g., size change), you may need to bear the return courier charges or choose to exchange.
  • Always use a reliable courier and retain the tracking ID until we confirm receipt.

Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved:
    • Prepaid orders will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
    • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be refunded via bank transfer / store credit within 5–7 business days after approval.
  • Shipping and COD charges (if any) are non-refundable.

Exchange Policy

  • You can exchange an item once per order for a different size or color (subject to stock availability).
  • If the replacement item is unavailable, you may choose a refund or store credit.

Non-returnable / Non-refundable Items

  • Customized / tailored / made-to-order items
  • Sale or discounted items marked as “Final Sale”
  • Gift cards or digital purchases
  • Accessories like masks, jewelry, or innerwear (for hygiene reasons)

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. First, check your bank account again.
  2. Then contact your credit card company or bank — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. If you’ve done all this and still haven’t received it, please contact us at kamalamethnic@gmail.com.
